'Museum' chair (also known as 'Sedile del'Museo Bagatti Valsecchi'), 1996
H. 85 x 48 x 53 cm. Made by Osvaldo Mastrangelo, Meda. Solid beech wood, steamed, stained with red, yellow and green aniline paint; small mother-of-pearl inlays in the backrest. Marked: Manufacturer's metal badge Mastrangelo.
Only a few of these chairs were made. The abstract face in the backrest represents Mendini's muse Anna Gili.
