H. 73 x 53,5 x 53 cm. Beech bentwood, stained dark, plywood. Marked: Maker's paper label.

Le Corbusier used this chair in 1925 to furnish his 'Pavillon de l'Esprit Nouveau' at the 'Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs' in Paris; also later in houses and interiors Le Corbusiers designed; thus, in the vernacular it is called Corbusier chair. Provenance: Collection of Prof. Dr. Florian Hufnagl.
