Oil on panel, painted on recto and verso. Approx. 75.0 x 54.2 cm (plate), 90.5 x 70.2 cm (frame). Signed recto lower left: Meid and dated: (19)04, verso signed lower left and right: Meid and dated left: (19)04 (oil). The front of the double-sided painting is a study based on numerous Trübner portraits; The reverse is particularly interesting, as it is the first known depiction of a nude by Meid. Framed.

Not de-framed. Provenance: North German private collection. Verso at the top center a defect in the application of paint.
