Miniature box and cover 'Le pot de terre, le pot de fer', 1898
With eyelet handles. H. 3 cm. Cased glass, opal white and colorless, etched, decor in black solder, motif based on La Fontaine's fable, 'The earthen and the iron pot', polychrome enameled flowers on the lid, heightened with gold. Faint trace of the gold signature Daum Nancy, Cross of Lorraine on the bottom.
