H. 6.5-16 cm. Made by Reinhold Merkelbach, Grenzhausen. Stoneware, glazed Cologne-grey or Cologne-brown, respectively, cobalt blue or anthracite grey decor. Pewter lid or hinges. Marked: 1728 D 1729 D, 1770 D, 5801 (embossed).

The floral jug with a dedication on the lid: AEi, Max Nueßler s./l. Lbf Schmid z. frdl. Erinnerg. Neujahr 1908.
