Jug, H. 34 cm. Beer stein, H. 15 cm. Made by Reinhold Merkelbach, Grenzhausen. Stoneware, brown salt glazed, part anthracite-coloured. Pewter lid. Marked: round maker's mark R.MERKELBACH GRENZHAUSEN NASSAU, PAUL WYNAND 2113, 1 1/2 L (embossed). Beer stein marked: R. MERKELBACH GRENZHAUSEN, H, M, 2444 (embossed).
