Egg tempera on linen. 14.2 x 22.5 cm (linen), 49.5 x 59.5 cm (frame). Dated and signed next to the image on the left: 11.8.(19)61, and signed: Julius Bissier (Tempera). Inscribed verso: 5.1.61 STOCK NO4294 (pencil) and another illegible inscription. Framed under glass in a passe-partout.
Provenance: Probably acquired in the late 1970s at Galerie + Edition A (Roland Angst), Munich; subsequently in a private collection in southern Germany.
