Prototype rocking chair 'Lisa', c. 1985
H. 92 x 61 x 97 cm. Made by Stefan Heiliger. Tubular metal, bent, painted black, textile, salmon-pink, striped.
"Swings always have to do with fun, so in order to express this in the design I planned the skid frame as a spiral so that asymmetry is created. The spiral starts on one side and ends upside down on the other." The chair was in production as "The Chair" at Hain+Thome, in 1987 as "Lisa" at Strässle.
