Slutzky made the unique piece in his time as a teacher at the Royal College of Art, London, 1950-55. Shown in the exhibition Bauhaus and Britain, Tate Britain, London 2019. Provenance: Naum Slutzky's workshop 1965, his wife Rita Ingeborg Slutzky and their descendants.
