'Königshof' side table, c. 1972
H. 49 x 102.5 x 53 cm. Profiled brass, tubular brass, nickel plated, clear glass.
Originally from the 'Königshof' hotel, Munich which was built in 1950 and refurnished for the Olympics in 1972. The interior decoration was mainly purchased in Paris at Maison Jansen. The Hotel closed down in 2018. The building will be knocked down in January 2019. A new construction by the architectural firm Nieto Sobejano will take its place.
