'Panton' chair, workpiece, 1960s
H. 80 x 50 x 58.5 cm. Made by Vitra Design, Weil am Rhein, c. 1968. Polyurethane foam (Baydur, Duroplast), orange/brown, structured, not lacquered.
Blank from the test phase prior to actual production. All in all, only 150 pieces had been produced; a large part of the production was scraped after they failed the stress test.
