Four-lobed mushroom-shaped shade above a slender, offset baluster base. Height 52.5 cm, diameter 29.5 cm. Made by Daum Frères, Nancy. Overlay glass, colorless with yellow, orange, and reddish powder inclusions, as well as polychrome enamel melts in red, blue, green, and gray. Etched decoration with autumnal grapevines; the three-dimensional snail reworked with cut. Shade signed: DAUM NANCY, Lorraine cross or DN at the base (etched in high relief).
