Silver, partially gold-plated, mother-of-pearl shell, opal, sapphire, aquamarine, fire opal. Total 20.24 grams. 86 x 38 mm. Not stamped.

Mother of pearl shell with crack. This lot is sold according to regular taxation.

From the estate of the painter Curt Herrmann (1854-1929), a friend of Henry van de Velde, and his wife Sophie, née Herz (1872-1931); private collection. Föhl/Neumann, Henry van de Velde, Vol. I, Metallkunst, Leipzig 2009, p. 736 (identical).
