Three geese flying over the treetops. 46 x 81 cm, with frame: 62 x 97.5 cm. Carved fruitwood with polychrome paint. Colorless enamel on bluish precious metal foil. Signed lower left: Hestaux. Carved oak frame. Handwritten label on the verso: MUSÉE DES ARTS DECORATIFS EXPOSITION 1932, Corbin. Second label with the artist's address and the name of the work.

Provenance: formerly Dr. Helmut Hentrich, now a private collection in southern Germany. Minor superficial abrasions and scratches (especially on the frame), enamel with cracks.
