Side chair, 1895

H. 92 cm, 32 x 45 cm. Ebonized wood, richly decorated in Arabic style. Metal inserts. The turned legs are covered with leg rods and supports made of embossed copper. The backrest in the middle is decorated with a disc-shaped filling between braided cords. On the seat and backrest there is a parchment covering, decorated with birds, tendrils and oriental 'characters'.
