Henry van de Velde. Easy chair, 1916. H. 82.5 cm, 65 x 65 cm. Mahogany, upholstery, pale yellow fabric cover.
Provenance: From the apartment of Heinrich and Rosemarie Mutzenbecher, Hamburg, Alsterchaussee 13. Depicted in the original documentation. The legs had been cut but were restored with the original pieces. In the meantime, the cover of the chair was removed to illustrate the original design of the chair and its condition.
