Collectors secure important designs by Carlo Scarpa and Ercole Barovier.

Almost every glass object designed by Carlo Scarpa for Venini sold for good prices. A funnel-shaped cobalt vase, designed c1940, was fervently battled over, its price increasing from €4,000 – 5,000 up to €7,500. Scarpa's 'Pennellate' vase from the year 1942 affirmed its tax of €8,000, his earlier designs from the 1930s also sold for their estimates. At the moment, Ercole Barovier's designs attract particular attention from the collector community. An 'Egeo' vase (1960), changed hands for €8,800. His three 'Diamantati' items experienced particular demand. A footed bowl increased its price from €1,500 to €5,500. The 'Dorico acquamare' vase with a very attractive colour scheme climbed from €4,000 to €7,700. An Italian collector secured Paolo Venini's 'Zanfirico mosaico' vase for its double tax of €4,000. Rare shapes and colour schemes were most interesting for the bidders in regards to Fulvio Bianconi's 'Pezzato' models. A 'Pezzato' vase in grey, purple and yellow attained €4,000. All but one of Anzolo Fuga's vases were sold. And Lino Tagliapietra's vase, designed in 1995, called up at €2,500, attained a pleasant hammer price of €4,600.
