The cover lot, Ercole Barovier's 'Tessere Polichrome' vase, obtained a hammer price of € 18,000, thus doubling its lower estimate, and will be part of a Munich-based collection. However, the top lot of the auction was an 'A Fasce Verticale' vase by Fulvio Bianconi for Venini, it went into a German collection for a hammer price of € 24,000. Rare works by the House of Barovier & Toso received further results missing the marge of € 10,000 by hair's breadth.
