Half of the 223 lots of the Murano glass sale achieved a total amount of € 400,000. Ercole Barovier’s ‚Primavera’ vase from the year 1929, estimated at € 60,000-70,000 received a record hammer price of € 94,000, including buyer’s premium, that would be € 112,000. Fulvio Bianconi’s ‚Scozzese’ vase from 1954 increased from € 15,000 up to € 20,000 and is now part of an Italian private collection. A ‚murrine’ vase by Artisti Barovier was purchased by an American collector for its lower estimate of € 20,000. The complete series of ‚Pulcini’ birds by Alessandro Pianon will also travel to the US for € 19,000.
