Nine hard-paste porcelain objects, fired using the reduction firing method, in a wooden box. H. 4.0 x 4.3 x 3.0 cm to 8.0 x 3.5 x 3.0 cm (stones), 5.0 x 45.0 x 5.6 cm (box). Signed on one stone: Piet Stockmans and dated: 1988 (incised); on the box, among other things, signed: Piet Stockmans and numbered: 11/25 (pencil). Copy 11 of 25 copies.

Starting with his large-scale porcelain installations of the 1980s, which consisted of thousands of individual porcelain elements and filled entire rooms, Piet Stockmans created smaller groups of works in wooden boxes that preserve the expression and atmosphere of these monumental works in a more manageable format.
