Folding chair 'Volkshaus Probstzella', 1927/28

H. 91.5 x 41.5 x 53 cm. Made by Locksmith Itting, Propstzella 1927/28. Tubular steel, chrome-plated, plywood, stained black. Marked: embossed stamp: 'Ideal' plaque and fish symbol; 2 inventory labels of the municipality of Probstzella, numbering 372.

"Between 1926 and 1929, Alfred Arndt stayed mainly in Probstzella, Thuringia, where he managed the expansion of the "House of the People" on behalf of the entrepreneur Franz Itting.
