H. 71 x 60 x 92 cm. Made by Cebaso, Ohrdruff. Tubular steel, nickel-plated, chrome-plated, auburn iron yarn.

Dieckmann is among the most important designers of the Bauhaus and his tubular steel furniture takes a special position in the context of European tubular steel design of the pre-war era. "The construction of the variation of model '8239' follows the 'One-line' system. Seat and back of the chair result of the curvature of the frame." (Erich Dieckmann, p. 105, p. 176).
