H. 70.5 x 78 x 78 cm. Made by Thonet, Frankenberg, in 1964. Wood, painted red, crème-white formica. Marked: Maker's label.
Designed and made for the 'Documenta III', 1964 for the Restaurant/Café of the Documenta area, presumably by Gerd Lange and the Gruppe 61. Never in serial production.
