H. 11.5 cm, Ø 21 cm. Made by Daum Frères, Nancy. Cased glass, colorless, yellowish, orange and violet powder inclusions, red, orange and dark blue vitrifications. Inside and outside etched decor with autumnal vine tendrils. Signed in the bowl: DAUM NANCY, Cross of Lorraine (raised).

The popular 'la Vigne' decor was used on various vases and lamps, see exh. cat. Centenaire de Daum au Japon, Hokkaido, 1980, no. 32, dated 1903; exh. cat. Daum verre et cristal, Nancy 1980, no. 32; Ricke/Schmitt, Gerda Koepff glass collection, Kunstmuseum Düsseldorf, Munich 1998, no. 105, with reproduction of the draft drawing and additional literature.
