Popular vases, elegant lighting design, rare decors - the spring auction sets up a wide range for Lalique collectors and glass aficionados

A round dance of girls adorns René Lalique's most famous design for a vase - the 'Bacchantes' model is offered for € 10,000-13,000 as a table light with a bronze base and is available in a scarce, strongly opalescent, version for € 27,000-33,000 as well. Some rare coloured vases can also be found in the auction catalogue, for example the 'Ferrières' model in green for € 4,500 - 5,500.

We are particularly taken with the heralds of spring depicted in the delicate decorations of Lalique's in this offer, which comprises around 100 lots. The 'Lièvres' vase (estimate € 2,400 - 3,000) from 1923 is bustling with activity. In a seemingly endless trail, rabbits jump around on the border of the vase. Birds sit huddled on the delicate branches of the opalescent 'Ceylan' vase (estimate € 4,000 - 5,000). The plump sour cherries on the 'Montmorency' model, which is available for € 3,200 - 3,800, already make you yearn for the warm summer days.
