When the battery is inserted, the object produces sounds corresponding to the frequency selected using the rotary knob.
The electronic components used by Walter Giers are not merely design elements; they also serve to generate sounds and light effects that can be perceived by the viewer.

The yellow paint on the loudspeaker is missing in some spots. It comes with a new battery.
