Signed lower right: Stefanoni and dated: 1981 (pencil), titled on the reverse of the stretcher: "elenco di cose", signed: Stefanoni and dated: 1981 (black fineliner); stamped upper left of the stretcher: 162. Framed under glass and described as such.

The series 'Elenco di Cose' (List of Things), created between 1976 and 1983, comprises 215 works created using a magnifying glass. Conceived as a cohesive book-diary, the cool and austere images, reminiscent of illuminated manuscripts, replace the written word.
