Banksy (Bristol ? 1974 - lebt in Bristol) attributed
'Bomb Hugger', 2003

Template composition: Colored spray technique and template on corrugated board. 61.0 x 43.5 cm. In the black object frame. This 'Bomb Hugger' was manufactured on the occasion of an anti-Iraq war demonstration in London on February 15, 2003, and distributed by Banksy and his colleagues. Many of these multi-crafted objects were destroyed or thrown away after the demonstration because Banksy was not a famous artist at the time. This poster comes with a poster by Karmarama, 'Make Tea not War', 2003. The poster shows Tony Blair wearing a teacup as a soldier's helmet. The poster was part of the protest against the coalition war against Iraq, 2003, London, and was created in connection with the said anti-Iraq war demonstration. Please note that the 'Bomb Hugger' is neither signed nor numbered. The Banksy Authentication Body, Pest Control, does not issue Certificates of Authenticity (COA) for Bomb Hugger.
