Klatt/Staeffler. Braun + Design Collection, 40 Years of Braun Design, 1955 to 1995, pp. 71 and 76. Gugelot founded his own studio in 1950. From 1956, he also worked as a lecturer at the Ulm School of Design (HFG). He originally came from furniture making. His encounter with the Braun brothers was decisive in his shift towards industrial design. In the late 1950s, he and Herbert Lindinger designed a phonograph-radio combination for Max Braun OHG. This design marked Braun's entry into the high-end hi-fi market. "Studio 1" control unit and L3 loudspeaker combination. Estimated production run: 200-500 units.
