Folding chair 'B 4', c. 1928

H. 75 x 77 x 53 cm; tube Ø 2 cm. Made by Standard-Mobel, Berlin or Thonet, Frankenberg. Tubular metal, painted red, plugged and screwed, grey/beige 'Eisengarn', hexagonal screws.

Provenance: Originally from House Pistor, Graz, designed by Austrian architect Herbert Eichholzer, a former collaborator of Le Corbusier in Paris. The current owner purchased it at an estate sale. Lacquer with repairs.
