Gino Sarfatti. '1063' floor light, 1953/54. H. 215 cm. Made by Arteluce, Milan. Sheet metal, painted black. Marked: Maker's label ARTELUCE MILANO.

The floor light had been modified. To insert a different fluorescent light, the aluminium cylinder was opened up with a saw (L. 35 cm), the applications repositioned. After that, the cut was resoldered and painted black. The original transformer was replaced with a newer model; the screws of the transformer case lost.
