Chryselephantine figure 'Mandolin player', 1920

H. 22 cm, H. 23.5 cm (overall). Bronze, cold-painted, head, arm, hands with guitar and visible foot in carved ivory, partially painted. Plinth signed: G. Schliepstein fec (embossed). Yellow onyx base.

Two tuning pegs on the guitar's head are missing. The foot appears to have been reattached in the past.
