H. 156.4 cm, 73.5 x 60.3 cm. The backrest is a large circular disc set between minaret-like backrest posts, shortened on one side and featuring a round tray. The armrests are molded to form a semicircle. The backrest and backrest posts are connected on both sides by cord. Walnut with inlays of bone, brass, and ebonized wood with stamped and chased brass overlays. The backrest, armrests, and seat are covered with parchment and painted with Japanese floral motifs.
