Tall vase 'Ancolies', 1895-1900

In the shape of a stylized calyx. H. 48.5 cm. Cased glass, milky opalescent, colorless and ruby red with yellow etching and blue metal dusting. Etched decoration with a slightly cloudy landscape and flowering columbine plants, against a rough background ('givré'). Signed: Gallé X (raised, Japonesque).
