Female figure in a flowing robe, dancing, adjusting her sandal. H. 53 cm. Bronze, gilded. Signed: A. Leonard Sclp, foundry mark of Susse Frères Paris, M for Mangenot (chiseler).

According to Böstge/Heran, only seven copies of the 'Danseuse au Cothurne' were produced.

Die Jugendstilsammlung, Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg, vol. 3, no. 1308, Justus Brinckmann acquired the entire centerpiece executed by Sèvres at the Paris World Exhibition in 1900, the Hamburg Museum also owns two Bossetti of the sash dancers, cat. no. 1307; Cadet, Susse Frères, Paris 1992, p. 195 (Sales cat. from 1905).
