Small Vase 'Ophrys apifera et Orchis', 1890-94

Rolled sheet. H. 15.5 cm. Execution in Meisenthal. Green glass, pink powder inclusions. Etched and enameled decoration with ragwort (Ophrys apifera), two pistils as applied cabochons, etched panicles of orchid (Orchis), partially violet. Signed on the bottom: Cristallerie d'E Gallé Nancy modèle et décor déposés (needle etching).
