Street piece: Square colored mosaic glass stones on press board. Approx. 80.0 x 50.0 cm. Verso two hooks for hanging. Invader is famous for his mosaics with the themes of Space Invaders and other 1970s and 1980s 8-bit iconographies. This work is based on 'Nyan Cat', which means 'meow-meow-cat'. Also known as the Pop-Tart Cat or rainbow-cat, it is a 12-frame 8-bit GIF animation of a flying cat with a body made of a cherry pop tart, that leaves a rainbow behind.
