'Rhino', 1967

H. 39.5 x 83 x 31 cm. Burlap, brown, blue and red leather, black beads. Marked: two rings of leather.

The rings are called 'Haeusler' rings. They indicate that the rhino was made very early (1967) by Helene Haeusler as professor at the technical college for design and toys in Sonneberg together with her student Renate Müller; Haeusler and Müller completed many burlap toys and brought them to the production stage.
