Josef Hoffmann, Vienna. Decorative 'S 2237' bowl, 1911. Base with leaf tendrils, beaded rims. H. 4.7 cm; D. 16.4 cm. Made by Alfred Maier, silversmith at Wiener Werkstätte. Silver. Marked: Initials of Alfred Maier, A, Diana's head, WW, rose mark and initials of Josef Hoffmann.
