With a sales quote above 50% and a gross auction proceeds of more than 350,000,-- € for Modern glass only, Quittenbaum is most content.

Fulvio Bianconi’s ‚Scozzese’ vase, dating from 1954, was purchased into an Italian private collection for 74,000,-- € (gross; estimate: 75,000,--). An American private collector secured for himself nearly 30 glass items, among them not only objects from his homeland, like Joel Philip Myer’s vase for 5,500,-- € (gross; 3,500,,--), or Dale Chihuly’s ‚basket’, made in 1979 for 2,700,-- € (gross; 1,200,--) but also a vase by Anzolo Fuga from the 1960s that will travel across the Atlantic for 5,500,-- € (gross). An ‚a fili’ vase by Carlo Scarpa went to Italy for 16,500,-- €, a blue-red vase by Fulvio Bianconi stays, fought over by three bidders, in Germany. Delightfully, a German museum was able to secure itself a vase by Dale Chihuly for 11,200,-- €.
